A day at the museum
The island of Ibiza has a rich archaeological, historical, artistic and ethnographic heritage since prehistoric times and the Punic world, through the medieval Islamic era. You can also explore the traditional rural world through religious and contemporary art in every museum on the island. Just plan your day carefully and you will get to visit various museums and learn a few things about the heritage of Ibiza. We recommend starting with the Museum of Contemporary Art and moving towards The Archaeological Museum of Ibiza and Formentera. If you find the time, the Puget Museum and the Diocesan Museum are rich sources of what Ibiza is all about, so have a look their way too. Visiting Ibiza’s museums is a great way of spending your time on a rainy November day so I guess we’ll see you there!
